Did Mark Twain and hamburgers exist at the same time? According to our 5 second internet search, yes, modern hamburgers were likely invented toward the later end of Mark Twain's lifetime, so it's possible he got to enjoy one in his old age. Seems like the kind of novelty he would have enjoyed for some reason, although I'm sure he would have had opinions on it and included it as an aside in one of his many writings. We're not aware of any historical records or photos of this event though, so here's an idea of what it may have looked like. Because we wanted to see it, and you know, why not?
